In today's world of mass-production and uniformity, the standard procedure for furnishing your home might be to pick out a factory-assembled unit at a branded dealer or assemble your cabinets and beds from mail-ordered boxes of pieces like giant toy models.  But if you had a choice – and you do – you're probably better off having your furniture custom-built to suit your specific needs and tastes.

Since you are paying the extra cost for a unique piece of furniture, we encourage you to take an active involvement in its design.  If there are catalogues or photographs of furniture pieces you like, by all means show them them to us.  If there is a certain kind of wood or finish to which you are partial, let us know!  The more vivid our understanding of what you are looking for, the easier it will be for us to bring it into being.  Or, if you are uncertain, you can just leave it up to John's discernment.  Either way, we're certain you will be pleased with the results.

Our areas of particular expertise include fireplace mantels, built-in cabinetry, and bed frames, though desks, chairs, coffee tables, dining room tables, shelves, and virtually any other kind of woodwork you might name is certainly possible.

John professedly excels at building bunk beds.  They are, in his own words, "made to be virtually indestructable."  He uses only quality joints, heavy duty fasteners, and absolutely no cheap particle board pieces.  If your children are sharing a bedroom together, we encourage you to come to us with with bunk bed ideas and designs.  With your input, we can put together a bunk bed that is safe, fun, and built to last, tougher than anything your kids can dish out.
