I see this alot these days.  Beautiful home with a awesome master bedroom with the built in gas fireplace to add that wow to the room, but sadly it is just a box in the wall.  Here is what I did for one couple.  I also did the stone work.  This came out exactly as the homeowner had dreamed it would.

Media Center in Cherry.  Tinted glass panel hides computer keyboard, CPU,DVD, and sterio controls for a complete media center.  Custom made to fit a 55" flat screen set in the corner of this confrence room. 

Entertainment, bookshelf, and Mantle all rolled into one.
